Catnip makes me silly 🙂

Dear Friends,

I believe every new environment provides us each with an opportunity to learn something about ourselves. Since arriving at Tabby’s Place, I’ve learned quite a bit about myself.

For example, I’ve learned that humans have huge hearts and are simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I’ve learned that I have a super loud, cheerful purr.

I wish you could hear my loud sing-song purr through this photo

I’ve learned that human food smells delicious and I want some, but I can’t have any because it’s not good for my diabetes.

And, recently, I learned that I am hooked on catnip (here’s a video of me having a grand time).

I love my home in the Tabby’s Place lounge because staff and volunteers have their lunch here, so I get a lot of human attention. When I’m not cuddling with my people, I’m relaxing in a soft bed or sunning myself while watching the birds outside my window.

I’m happy to report that my mouth continues to look good, so I’m being slowly weaned off of my steroids, which helped me get my inflammation under control. I’m also told my current insulin dose is serving me well, based on the results of a blood glucose curve.

Whatever you’re eating looks delish…

The kind staff monitors me regularly to make sure I stay healthy and on the right dose of medication. Plus, they’re sweet to me and tell me how handsome I am. I’m flattered and smitten with these lovely folks.

Speaking of lovely folks, I’m smitten with you, one of my best friends and supporters. I thank my lucky stars that you’re in my orbit, making sure I get to live my best life every single day.

Love,
Taylor Ham
