Dear friends,

Happy New Year! Once again, January 1 marks the unofficial birthday of every Tabby’s Place cat. I’ve reached double digits this year (the BIG 1-0!) so I’m a real big boy now.

The holidays were nice and cheerful in Suite FIV+. Because of the crazy cold we experienced, access to the solarium was closed off for our protection (some of us kitties are very stubborn, even in freezing temperatures). It made for cozy times having all us kitties inside at once. Luckily, we all seem to be getting along these days.

I heard that Amos was hand-picked to move into Jonathan‘s office, where he’s now living with his new friend, Sherbet. Sherbet has been sharing Jonathan’s office for some time now, so I’m sure he’ll show Amos the ropes and get him acclimated. Rumor has it that Wolfie was almost selected for the move, rather than Amos, but it was decided that Wolfie would miss his many friends and the solarium way too much.

I’m not sure to whom one needs to suck up to get picked for that kind of prime real estate, but truthfully, I kind of like it where I am. I know I can be tough on the other cats sometimes, but secretly, I like my roomies and consider them my special friends (so long as they don’t compete with me for human attention).
