Update for Lester

Dear friends,

Happy New Year! This year, I’ll be 8 years old, but I’m still a young, frisky Brooklyn boy at heart. While I’ve refrained from any major brawls with my roomies, I am sporting a couple of fresh, new scratches on my nose. Nothing major; I’ll just need to learn to better guard my face when I decide to get in another cat’s face.

The past month brought in three new fellas to Suite FIV: Socks, Bunk and Mr. Grey Fluffy Pants.

They seem very gentle and sweet, so I’ve decided not to haze the new guys just yet (they are not the cause of my new scratches, in case you were wondering). Like many of us in Suite FIV, they love human attention, and they seem to get along well with each other. Just the other day, Mr. Grey Fluffy Pants was grooming Bunk’s head while they both purred joyfully.

In other news, Charlie has once again had an embarrassing moment, though he probably thinks it’s hilarious and kind of awesome. Right around the holidays, Charlie attempted to emerge from one of the solarium igloos but got stuck on his way out. Undaunted, he just kept walking, bringing the entire igloo with him. I wish I had a picture of that to share with you! He’s such a funny goofball.

It’s finally starting to feel like winter, so I’ve been spending most of my days inside on my favorite chair, feeling grateful for my life here at Tabby’s Place. Thank you for making all this possible for me.

Your friend,
Lester
