Dear friends,

Sometimes, when you resign yourself to the belief that your circumstances will never change, a delightful surprise shakes your world. This month, that delightful surprise happened for our sweet Buddy, who was adopted by a beautiful family that fell head-over-heels in love with him. Buddy has been with us for several years and came close to being adopted a bunch of times. To be clear, Buddy was very happy here at Tabby’s Place and anyone who knew him could see his joy bubbling over with his cat and human friends alike. But, there’s nothing like a family to call your own. Happy life, little Buddy!

While our gorgeous Mona has many cuddle buddies in Suite FIV+, she and Buddy have been very close lately. Perhaps she is a good-luck charm. I think I’ll spend more time snuggling with her in the coming weeks in hopes that some of the luck will rub off on me.

My health has been good, and I’m still as handsome as ever. I do enjoy being healthy and feeling great! I hope that continues for a very long time.

Like many of you on the East coast, I’m a bit confused about this weather. Is it spring yet or what? One day there are crocuses and daffodils popping up out of the ground with the sun warming the solarium, and the next day they are covered in several inches of snow. Either way, the birds are singing their spring songs, which makes me infinitely happy.
