Tabby’s Place celebrated its 5th Anniversary of the building’s opening this month! For the past 5 years, Tabby’s Place has successfully been helping cats find forever homes -and keeping them loved until they do- thanks to the support of people like you.
Of course, one of our favorite, most-loved kitties waiting for her special home is Anastasia. Over the year that I have been corresponding for Anastasia, I’ve felt that our relationship has really taken off. You know how they say that the best friendships are where you can just be with the other person and not say a word? That’s how I feel with Ana.
During our last visit, I was feeling so lethargic -the cats napping only making it worse- that I decided to just put my head down for a minute next to Ana. Of course, I didn’t fall asleep with her helicopter-like loud purr, but it was nice to have some quiet time and just enjoy each other’s company!
Medically, this has been a great month for Ana. She’s still on the increased steroid dosage and it has her weight up and her fur looking so great these days. Ana has also been continuing to enjoy the fresh air of the solarium and can be found snuggled up on a blanket even during the worst of weather. Ana’s best bud Desi is also doing well medically and enjoying the solarium to its fullest.
