September has brought Newman more of all the wonderful things he enjoys in life: lots of warmth and sunshine, and oodles of company, both feline and non-feline. In addition to ever-so-sweet Adelaide, Newman has had some new company in the solarium lately. Charlie has finally found the great outdoors. He’s still usually an inside guy, but lately we’ve seen more and more of him snoozing out in the sunshine with his buddies. It is good to see him exploring a little while the weather is still delightful.
Newman can chill better than most kitties I know, and he certainly proved it on a recent visit. He was out like a light on his color coordinated blanket, and nothing was going to change that. He tried very hard to stay in his Newman world and soak in the warmth of the day.
Reluctantly, he gave all that up when the playing started. It is tough to resist playtime! Bo (pictured below) was front and center in the playpen, and then eased into a state of absolute bliss, just simply enjoying the day.
In other news, “Newman just opened up his shop.” Those were the exact words of staff member Karina — and she’s not joking. Newman is our newest Tabby’s Place cat to have his own personal online boutique. Sponsors can now browse clothes and other goodies bearing Newman’s handsome face. That handsome face has had a happy, healthy August.
