Dear Buddy lovers,

Cats react differently to the summer months, with longer days and warmer weather, more bugs and noises to experience out in the solarium. Buddy, however, doesn’t respond to changes the way other cats do. He reacts slowly, taking his evolving environment in stride, adapting in “Buddy time.”

This month, our beautiful boy met one of the quirkiest cats ever to enter Suite FIV. Darling Dwayne, with his grayish-brownish mop of wild fur and bullfrog-like meow, is a creature in a class of his own. Volunteers and Tabby’s Place staffers have yet to see Buddy interact with chattery Dwayne much, but the sweet, strange new face has settled into Suite FIV very nicely.

If and when Dwayne does show an interest in his roomies, we expect Buddy will be happy to befriend him. Buddy will likely take his time, making sure there’s nothing to fear about Dwayne’s colossal croak of a meow.

Buddy’s health remains excellent. Thank you so much for helping us to keep him healthy, happy and lavished with love!
