Update for Boobalah

Greetings to Boobalah’s Sponsors,

Happy September! We have certainly had hints that fall is in the air and coming soon. But, then again, a heat wave is bearing down on us as I write this monthly update. You never know what late August and September will bring us in terms of weather. No matter what, rest assured that Boobalah (thanks to you!) and all of her friends at Tabby’s Place are happy, warm, comfortable, well-fed, and loved. Tremendously loved.

Boobalah, settling in for some undisturbed quiet time!

One day I was looking to say hello to Boobalah after finishing my volunteer shift, and she was nowhere to be found. I was concerned. I took yet another look around the room, surveying every cubby hole a cat would find of interest to crawl into. Nothing. Now what? Before alarming anyone that our sweet Boobalah had performed a magic act and disappeared, I took one more scan of the room. I heard a noise from a very dark corner behind the temporary desk in the Lobby. Sure enough, it was sweet Boo looking for a quiet place to snuggle, snooze, and not be disturbed.  I don’t blame her, after all, it was right after lunch. Don’t we all want to nap after lunch?

Luckily, Boobalah also likes to strut her stuff and be the center of attention. She is always ready (well, except for power naps!) to pose for her adoring fans. Boobalah enjoys every minute of time spent with her humans.

In medical news, Boobalah was reported to have one bout of vomiting this month but has otherwise been in good health.  She enjoys being diaper-free overnight and this routine has kept her healthy and happy. Every morning there are a few “puddles” in the Lobby, but it gets mopped up every day, so all is well.

                                Peek-a-Boo!

Tabby’s Place is quite busy these days as preparations are underway for the official Grand Opening of Quinn’s Corner on Saturday 10/7! From 12-4 p.m., we’ll be celebrating Tabby’s Place’s expansion for FeLV+ cats, and we’d sure love to have you with us. We’ll have tours, speeches, activities for all ages, and of course visits with our sensational cats! We’ll be emailing you further details soon, but please mark your calendars for this fabulous moment in feline history.

If you should stop by to see Quinn’s Corner, I know Boobalah would love to see you and express her gratitude for all that you do for her. Thank you for loving sweet Boo and for your ever-constant support.

Have a wonderful month!

Donna
