Blind, diabetic

His eyesight might not be perfect, but Pol’s personality sure is!

Although Pol is blind, he doesn’t let that stop him from having a good time. This boy can be quite playful, enjoying toys such as crinkle balls that make sounds to alert him which direction to run in to catch his prey.

Pol made the trip to Tabby’s Place all the way from Lebanon. He’s a strong cat and braves the daily insulin injections and special diet his diabetes calls for.

He warms up to people fairly quickly, but he may act a bit timid at first. Pol will often let his visitors know that he feels comfortable by settling on his side and letting out loud purrs. This precious cat adores attention via petting, especially chin scratches. Overall, Pol favors pets on his head and may even tell you this by reaching an adorable paw out to caress a hand straying away.
