Heather is a hidden beauty of Tabby’s Place – literally. She’s a gorgeous dilute tortie, but she loves to bury herself completely under the blankets. Both staff and volunteers have spent time searching high and low to find this hide and seek champion, only to find her as a squishy lump under a comforter.
Heather is a sweet girl, but she needs a special kind of adopter who can be very patient with her and help her come out of her shell. Her BFF partners (volunteers who are part of our Befriending Fearful Felines program) know that she can be a loving cat. Once she is comfortable with someone, she loves neck scratches and will show her appreciation with a gorgeous purr. The hard part, however, is making Heather comfortable. She can be very nervous at times and, as we mentioned before, loves to burrow down in her bed whenever she is feeling scared.
We remain hopeful that with a home of her own, she will certainly blossom and live out her golden years in trust and comfort. Are you the one to make Heather feel cherished and valued? Will you give her that safe place called home? Come visit pretty Heather. She will be so grateful and will win your heart for sure.
