Our wonderful Wally’s history is a bit of a mystery. We were told he was part of an outdoor colony of cats, but this colony was located at a private home, which is quite unusual. Some of Wally’s outdoor friends were feral, while others were more accustomed to people. Wally, who was handled a great deal by his caretakers, was socialized and is a very friendly boy.
Wally is a bit wobbly. We suspect this is from a long-ago ear infection that affected his balance. However, his off-kilter strut doesn’t slow him down one bit! He can get to his litter box with no problem and you should see him go after wand toys! In fact, Wally is a bit of a goofball, as well as a genuinely sweet boy. He’s also a complete sucker for cat treats.
Our best guess is that Wally was born late in 2007. He has a slightly cloudy right eye, but it certainly doesn’t bother him when he’s romping after toys (or treats!). We’re looking for the right person or family to come through our door and love this special senior just the way he is.
