When you hear about a cat who has lived outdoors for all of her approximately ten years, you can be forgiven for thinking that the cat probably wouldn’t be friendly toward people. Our Moira, however, is an exception to that rule. While we were told that she lived outdoors since she was a kitten, she does not embody any of the traits of a “feral” cat. Her previous owner, who sadly passed away, took good care of Moira and six other felines. Due to the love of her caretaker, Moira is well-socialized, friendly, and playful. She’s gentle and amicable and enjoys human company, especially if you offer her a good “skritch” on either side of her neck.
You may notice in her pictures that Moira’s right eye is a little cloudy. We’re awaiting an ophthalmology consultation to determine the cause. In the meantime, watch this space for an update or come on in to meet this sweet girl.
