Patches
Patches is a cute black and white female, of medium size, and declawed in front. She seems to be a quiet girl and isn’t disposed to do a lot of running around. She is affectionate with people, but in an equally quiet manner. From what we’ve seen, she’d do best in a home without other cats or young children.
Because Patches has a hyperthyroid condition, she’s one of our Special Needs felines. Luckily, this is an easy condition to treat; she requires nothing more than a small pill twice a day. Hyperthyroidism is easily controlled in cats.
Update (2/2008): Patches has been diagnosed with severe inflammatory bowel disease. Her condition is currently being treated with a special diet and oral steroids.
