Vito

Cats don’t come more outgoing or exuberantly affectionate than our Vito. And that’s almost unbelievable, considering that Vito was found as a stray, emaciated and with a nasty eye condition. Vito had entropion, in which an eyelid folds inward. It’s typically very painful and can cause corneal scarring. Despite all of this, he’s been a love bug almost from the beginning.

Vito has had surgery to correct his entropion. It’s likely that he does have some corneal scarring from it, but that’s minor and doesn’t affect him. He’s a gentle senior, probably born in the summer of 2002. Vito is small, with a black tail, black over his head and back, and some black patches on his otherwise white feet. He has a tiny tip of white on his tail, but you have to look carefully to see it.

Vito can be a bit of a goofball. He gets so excited by human attention that he’ll sometimes rub on other cats, and they don’t often appreciate it. He has had quite enough of outdoor adventures, and MUST LIVE INDOORS ONLY. He’s still very skinny but has gained over 2 pounds since coming to us. What he really needs is a home where he can get a lot of attention; he is very demanding about that.

If there’s a place in your heart and home for a special senior feline, come in to meet our Vito. We know you’ll love him as much as we do.
