Black patches over both ears and on her back, a black tail, and white rest-of-coat—that’s our Opal. She’s about 7 years old (as of this writing 6/2014), and she’s healthy as far as we can determine.

When she first arrived at Tabby’s Place Opal was very frightened of people, but now she is very fond of many of the volunteers and staff members. She enjoys petting and rubbing against people’s legs. Opal gets along beautifully with the other cats, and she loves her treats! We expect Opal to come out of her shell even more as time goes by.
