Luna
Luna had a difficult start in life. As a kitten Luna was misunderstood by her family. They couldn’t embrace Luna’s silly, kitteny ways, so they declawed her front paws in hopes of reigning her in. Luna was traumatized by the this experience, and it’s made her a little uneasy around people. She was just trying to be a kitten after all. Was there really anything wrong with that?
Despite Luna’s difficult past, she is still a playful and affectionate girl. Though, she can be uncomfortable when touched in certain places or when being petted for too long. She’s made great progress during her time here at Tabby’s Place. She’s much more relaxed and trusting then when she first arrived. Luna needs a special owner who will be understanding, patiently work to build trust and love her unconditionally.
