Kendall

A beautiful, gentle female, Kendall was surrendered to a shelter halfway across the country when her owner could no longer afford to keep her. She’s of medium size; while we’re not sure if she’s a purebred Bengal or not, a glance will tell you that she at the very least has a good deal of that breed in her ancestry. She’s got lots of orangey-brown in her coat, with the darker spotting typical of Bengals. There’s a touch of white on her muzzle and a bit on her chest, as well. We estimate that Kendall was born early in 2003. She has a fondness for other cats (regrettably, not all of them return this affection), but then she lived with another cat and a dog in her previous household and got along with both. Because she has been declawed on all four paws, she MUST live INDOORS ONLY. She’s an affectionate girl, who enjoys being petted; according to her records, she enjoys being held, as well.

Kendall may have IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). She had diarrhea when she came to us; since her arrival, we have had some success with controlling that on a special diet, and she’ll have to stay on that diet for the foreseeable future. Kendall drinks a lot of water for a feline, but we know that she is in early renal failure (note that this condition that may remain stable for years). Her medical issues mean she’s not ideal for every environment, but we’re hoping to find someone special who can give our Special Needs Bengal mix all the love and attention she desires.
