Henrietta

Poor Henrietta has had a very rough time of it. She has chronic, severe liver inflammation, and she takes multiple medications twice per day for that; she’ll need to keep doing so for the rest of her life. She also has chronic eye ulcerations, probably due to herpes. Obviously, she’s one of our Special Needs crew.

Henrietta is pretty scared of people at this point, but she *is* good-natured. We’ve had to move her back and forth a number of times for medical reasons, and she doesn’t appreciate that—but as soon as you’re petting her, it’s clear that she enjoys it. She’s an all-black female, not particularly large, and our best guess is that she was born in 2004.

Henrietta needs a lot of love and devotion from someone who knows what they’re doing where cats are concerned. She’s certainly not a good match for every home, but we believe there’s someone out there who will take our sweet senior home and love her just the way she is.
