Ginger

Ginger is a lovely, young (about 5 years old as of 1/09) torbie, with just a bit of white on her throat and chest. The rest of her coat is typical mottled orange-black and tabby, but she has some very attractive coloration, especially on her back, and an especially sweet-looking face.

Ginger is shy, but she does enjoy attention. Once she realizes that all you’re going to do is pet her, she becomes very happy and rather wriggly. However, it is important to note that Ginger will not tolerate being picked up. Because of this, and because of her shyness, she must go to a home with no young children.

The shelter from which Ginger came to us noted that she gets along well with other cats. She has bonded strongly with a male from the same shelter, named Patch (he’s also at Tabby’s Place). The two are much happier when they’re together, grooming one another and sleeping in the same cat bed. Come in to meet these “best friends”, and you may find they’ll become your best friends!
