Darcy

Darcy is a lovely, petite girl with a medium-length black coat. She came to us in a somewhat unusual way. Darcy had been part of a feral colony. When the colony had to be relocated, she went with the other felines. However, at the colony’s new farm, Darcy was most insistent upon repeatedly crossing the road. The nice people who care for this colony tried everything they (and we!) could think of to stop this, but nothing worked. Accordingly, Darcy was trapped again and came to Tabby’s Place.

As you’ve already guessed, Darcy is very shy with people. However, we are working with her in our Fearful Felines program, and she has made good progress so far. She also likes other cats, a distinct plus. We believe that Darcy was born in February of 2011, and she has no medical issues as far as we can determine.

What we’d really like for this beautiful little girl is a patient adopter, one who could help her blossom into the faithful companion we know she can become. A safe barn environment where she’ll be well cared for would also be acceptable. If you can help our Darcy, do come in to meet her.
