Midnight
We are all too well aware of the impact of the current recession on cat adopters. Midnight, a terrific boy of about 7 years of age, was adopted from us at age four, along with two other cats. Unhappily, his owners suffered a significant reversal of fortune, as have so many during the past two years, and Midnight was returned to us. As you might guess from his name, Midnight is all black.
We discovered a fibrosarcoma between Midnight’s shoulder blades. These tumors are malignant, and we were extremely concerned. However, we did surgery to remove the sarcoma. We’re delighted to tell you that the margins were clear and the surgery was regarded as curative! Midnight also has IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). For this, he’s on an oral steroid every other day, and he requires a prescription diet.
Due to the special care that he requires, Midnight isn’t a cat for just anyone. But, he has such a charming personality that we are hopeful he will be adopted soon despite his special needs.
