Shy sweetheart Myrna spent the majority of her life outside in a good Samaritan’s backyard. She and her sister Moira (who unfortunately passed away from cancer) were loved and taken care and they never went a day without shelter or food. When Myrna’s caretaker could no longer take care of them, however, Myrna was in need of a new home.
Luckily, Myrna was able to come to Tabby’s Place! She currently lives in a quiet office where she can climb up by the windows and bask in the sunlight. When she’s feeling a bit shy, she loves to curl up in a bed underneath the desk and snore the day away. Myrna also loves to cuddle with other cats and sometimes can be found trying to curl up with her roommates, who unfortunately don’t always share the same inclinations!
Myrna has some neurological issues that have made it difficult for her to completely empty her bladder and bowels on her own. Due to her condition, she must be manually expressed two to three times a day. Once you learn the technique, it is not a difficult task, but we understand that Myrna not be the right cat for everyone.
Myrna needs a special adopter who can take care of her special needs. Could that be you? Please see our Visit Us page to learn more about visiting our dear Myrna!
