Lager loves to be the center of attention. She enjoys being pet and will rub on visitors (and her siblings) for some extra snuggles. She is frequently the first to greet visitors to her playroom, and will either jump right into your lap or circle your legs until you acknowledge her charm. Lager has a beautiful swirled tabby coat that distinguishes her from her tabby brothers. Lager adores her brothers and is frequently found curled up on a cat tree with one of her siblings.

Lager was rescued by animal control along with her two brothers (Ale and Kolsch) and two sisters (India and Gose). The brothers stood out from the rest of their litter, testing positive for feline leukemia (FeLV+). The litter was likely exposed to the virus from their mother, but because Lager and India were not testing positive for the virus, they were sent to a foster home together. Lager was thrilled to again be reunited with her litter mates as she is quite the social butterfly.

Lager is an active young girl who runs, jumps, climbs, and plays with abandon. Like her brothers, she likes to dip her toy mice in water once they are captured. Because of their FeLV+ status, they should only be housed with other FeLV+ cats, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Ideally, we’d love to see them adopted with a sibling or two.
