Wilma lived as a barn cat for the first part of her life. She had food and water and basic care, but in general she did not interact with people; she simply had not been socialized as a kitten. And, then she got sick. Wilma contracted an upper respiratory infection, and it was not something she could have shaken off on her own. She was trapped and seen by a vet, who put her on a course of antibiotics. Of course, while she was taking the medication, she’d have to remain indoors. And that’s when it happened: Wilma decided that she actually likes people. She loves them, in fact! This is not something that occurs every day, but she has turned into a very sweet girl.

Wilma is a medium-sized brown tabby with some orange accents in her coat and a white muzzle. She has long since recovered from that upper respiratory infection and is a healthy girl. All she needs now is a loving, “forever” home. Come in to meet this special young lady!
