If you take a moment to peruse Greyson pictures, you may get the impression that she’s a little intense, and you wouldn’t be wrong.  As soon as you enter her room, she’ll come up to you to investigate what your about. Who are you? What are you doing? What do you smell like? Will you pay attention to me? Why aren’t you paying attention to me? Can I try to eat that piece of paper you’ve brought with you? She needs to know exactly what’s going on with the people in her room at all times. I find this investigative process quite endearing. Greyson is a very sociable cat, and she’s just looking for a little love and reassurance.

You see, Greyson’s life has been pretty unstable until she arrived here at Tabby’s Place. We’re at least the 4th place that Greyson has called home. There was a point in Greyson’s life where she was very nervous, much more nervous then she is now. And, this caused Greyson to, well, be a little lax about using her little box. Ugh, I know. That’s not something anyone wants to hear about a cat, but it happens sometimes. It’s a cat’s way of saying I’m stressed, and there’s something very wrong in my environment that needs to be fixed. Now, if Greyson could talk, she may have chosen to handle the situation a little differently. But, she can’t talk, so she had to pee on things. Believe me, it’s not a part of her history that she’s proud of. Sadly, Greyson’s owners didn’t understand her message, and she was given up.

Greyson is so much happier now. There’s so much to investigate at Tabby’s Place and so many people to meet. She’s grateful to be in a place with people who understand and listen to her. Even though, no, she still can’t talk. Greyson just hopes that one day she’ll find that one special person who really gets her and will take her to the forever home where she belongs and will be loved for the rest of her days.
