Incontinent due to a spinal injury

They say that carrots can improve your vision, and we can attest that Carrot will enhance your ability to see love in its feline form: an amber-eyed, russet and white furball with a gingery little goatee. Carrot is a sociable, outgoing, and cuddly boy who will voice his concern if he thinks you aren’t paying enough attention to him. He loves to climb all over your lap and absolutely loves his treats! He also gets along fine with his feline suite mates as long as he still has his moment in the spotlight.

Carrot’s life began in July 2014, on the streets of New York City. Without a safe, loving home, Carrot received an unknown injury to the base of his tail that was not addressed. Eventually, he found himself in a high-volume shelter who sent him to another rescue. Unfortunately, the well-meaning rescue discovered that Carrot’s old injury caused him to be incontinent and they were unable to provide him with the level of care he needed. Luck was on Carrot’s side, however. This city kitty joined Tabby’s Place in January 2015, where he became a fast favorite among staff and volunteers.

Although Carrot requires some special care, we know that his human soulmate is out there. He is a loving, outgoing boy who would love to be a part of your family. Due to his special needs, Carrot is also one of our sponsorable cats, and no matter what happens, he will always be well loved by our staff and volunteers.
