Incontinent due to a spinal defect

Adam is one quirky cat.

Adam was bottle-raised from the age of two weeks, so he has a particular affection for human interaction and attention. If you’re standing near him and he’s feeling affectionate, it’s not uncommon for him to rear up, plunk his two front paws on your chest, and rub his head on your neck or shoulders. He just loves to snuggle. Unlike most cats, Adam actually prefers the company of children compared to adults. He has been known to repeatedly lick the faces of young visitors, much to their delight and disgust. He is also generally fairly calm and loves to sleep all day with his face tucked underneath one paw.

Neurologically speaking, Adam is a bit of an oddball. He often doesn’t behave like a typical cat. He has a bit of a quirky gait when he walks, but he gets around just fine. He also has a very expressive face and will stare directly at you if he wants attention.

Adam needs some special care because he is incontinent. We believe this is due to a birth defect or a spinal injury when he was a very young kitten. His sweet nature makes all the extra care he needs worth it though. If you visit Adam, you’re sure to fall in love with this wonderful boy.
