I don’t want to get involved in the religious war over whether cats or dogs are “better,” but canine zealots will often point out that besides being great pets, dogs are also “useful,” as many dogs do real work, such as pulling sleds, rescuing people or guarding buildings. Cat lovers have to admit, reluctantly, that, though we love them dearly, cats are quite useless.
Well, we don’t have to take it any longer, thanks to Anne Loucks. Anne devised a technique to allow her cat to accept troublesome legal agreements. Anne uses the technique for those annoying EULAs that come with software (be honest, you don’t read them, either).
The technique is brilliant in its simplicity, does not harm the cat in any way and anyone can do it. You owe it to your cat to check this out so you can be prepared the next time the feline-canine argument erupts.
You can find the article here. But we could use more ammunition, so if you have other examples of “working cats,” please leave a comment and let us know.

Absolutely brilliant! And much more useful than that sled-pulling business, too.
