Gratuitous cat photo of the day: Don’t stop believin’ edition

lookyThey were feral…ish.
They were identical.
They were not ready for prime time.

CHAAAAAAAAARRRRGE!!

CHAAAAAAAAARRRRGE!! STORM THE BASTILLE!!!

kiteteBut within a few days - okay, weeks - of heavy-duty, high-test volunteer affection, they were enthused…in the extreme.

These outrageously awesome photos, captured by volunteer Jessica, are posted in thanks to the legions of volunteers who have been blitzing these kittens with love. It’s been a full-on assault of adoration. If The Oranges (Orangina, Mora, Tangelo and Mandarin) had any intention of staying feral, they’ve waved the white flag now.

"I am a kitten of epic craziness. Je suis un fauve sauvage." (If I remember anything from those years of high school French, methinks the kitten says that he is a "wild savage wild animal." Didn't you know all orinch kittens are French?

Moral of the story: don’t ever give up on scared kittens…especially if they’re orinch.

I remember being a little kid and how much our cats meant to me. The connection was always there. :)

And after eight failed attempts at logging in and a password reset, I made my comment on the wrong blog post. Sigh.
