It’s the time of the season when love runs high when Gratuitous Cat Photos start appearing on Felis Catus.
I could apologize for not having time to catch my breath eat a fluffernutter sandwich blog regularly. I could…and I would, except that (a) the aformentioned lack of time is due to trying to keep up with year-end donations from The World’s Most Awesome People to The World’s Most Righetous Cats, and (b) I know the forthcoming Gratuitous Cat Photos more than make up for any pithy prose I could write.
If you’re as childish childlike awesome as I am, you flipped open the first door on your Advent calendar this morning. Maybe you got chocolate. Maybe you got angels. But even if you got nothing and liked it, the Tabby’s Place cats have a heavenly host of treats for you. Without further ado, here come the feline snowflakes of December 2011. Gus is FIV+. Gus is magnificent. Gus is all that and 500,000 bags of chips. "As special and unique as a snowflake" barely scratches the surface of the epic sea of awesomeness that is Gus.
Jenny is a snowflake, too...a cast-iron snowflake who keeps all the bad boys in line and melts human hearts in a single purr.
Even mad-but-marvelous Cecille is a snowflake of infinite sweetness this time of year.
"REALLY I AM!" quoth Cecille. "I AM A SNOWFLAKE DAGNABBIT!!!" Except she used more colorful language than "dagnabbit."
Yes, every cat is as special and unique as a snowflake. But some are just more special and unique than others.

Angela, you left out one of your snowflakes and you really,really shouldn’t have given she’s the queen of the room you have your desk in!!! We both know who I’m talking about (but just in case you haven’t figured it out yet) I’m referring to Princess Peachy, who’ll be really cheesed off if she ever (and I do mean ever) finds this web page & sees she’s not on here. It’ll just be one more reason for her to fuss (and one more reason for all of us to fawn over her when she acts up)
