Special thanks to regular Felis Catus family member Nikki for taking these photos. I thank Nikki, also, for dropping increasingly heavy hints on my head until I was buried in a pile of them and needed the jaws of life to get out patiently suggesting that I show the softer side of Dobro.
Our fiery marmalade fella needs devoted, see-the-good-in-him-even-when-it’s-hiding friends like you, Nik.
And when he’s got me in the crosshairs of that steely Dobro gaze, I need a prayer. Or at least the mercy of three wise guys.

Thanks Angela!! I know my hints weren’t subtle but were they really that bad?? 
You always remind us that every person / cat has their own unique qualities that we must love accordingly. Dobro might be a little fiesty, but I love that about him! He’s not going to just let anyone in. With a little bit of love and months of sitting with him, I was able to get these pics without a zoom lens or managled hands

For some reason that trio photo makes me think of Charlie’s Angels…”two studied martial arts at the military academy in Japan, one studied ninja tactics at the marmalade academy in the United States…” Now all they need is a groovy pink van for mobile crime-stopping.
