The Irish could take a queue from the Chinese when it comes to cats. The Chinese let cats attend their universities (non-matriculating, I assume).

Years ago they had book worms, now that all students have computers and each one has a mouse, it seems only appropriate that each school should have a cat to police these computer mice.
I have to agree that the cat must be non-matriculating. We all know that cats don’t take lessons - they give them. And brilliantly.
