Consider him the smooth jazz of the feline world. This lanky, laid-back, silvery boy is the epitome of mellooooow.

It started about three years ago. This need to volunteer. I wanted to give back and happened to read about this cat shelter in the local paper and sauntered in one rainy Sunday. A few things fell into place, and I became an official volunteer on Wednesdays. I work a few hours once a week. I show up and do my job.
Most common question heard at Tabby’s Place: “How do you resist adopting all the kitties?” (Answer: it’s not easy.) Second most common question: “Don’t they fight?”
Answer: Yes…but less than you might think.
I don’t want to write this blog post.
I don’t want to have a reason to write this post. I’m not ready for that reason, and don’t expect I would have been ready next week, or next month, or next year.
But Grady was ready this morning. Our love, our Grady-bug, the snuggle bunny of my heart and the striped angel of the Tabby’s Place reception desk, left this earth around 10:30 am today.
…because Brock University in Ontario proudly announced that they’ve successfully refined a methodology “to allow for a human taste panel to profile the flavour and texture of a range of cat food products (CFP) and their component parts. ”
Mmm mmm good. I wonder what “successfully” means here?
