Tabby’s Place is a strong supporter of TNR, or Trap-Neuter-Release. Over the years, we have TNR’ed hundred of community (or “feral”) cats and have supported TNR efforts across the state. Sometimes, however, we trap cats that we don’t end up returning for a variety of reasons. In the case of seven cats that we trapped at a local correctional facility in early 2020, they were just too friendly to go back outside!
Maricruz is a sweet but slightly shy grey tabby. She has a tiny, adorable meow and will let you know if she would like some attention. If you approach her quietly, she will come over and rub herself against your legs, looking for love. She can be a little nervous around if it gets too noisy, so she would love a home on the more sedate side. Still, she enjoys gentle petting and gets along with other cats and would treasure the opportunity to be adopted into a home with another cat. She is young and healthy as far as we can determine and is simply looking for the right home!
