Neurological issues, Tripod – three legs

With a name like Rascal, you might expect him to be a Bad Boy who’s on the mean side. However, our Rascal is one of the sweetest and cuddliest cats to step foot in Tabby’s Place!

Everybody loves Rascal – and Rascal loves everybody, too. He is always up for visitors and will even let you pick him up and hold him. You can carry Rascal around all day, as he absolutely loves to be snuggled in someone’s arms at all times. There’s nothing better that a good kitty snuggle and petting his long, soft fur on a chilly day. When you hold him, he holds you. He wraps his cute paws around your arm and clings tight. Some of our volunteers even put little Rascal in a baby sling and carry him around Tabby’s Place. Truly, he is one of a kind.

Rascal was originally a stray who spent some time at another shelter, but due to his mobility issues, he came to Tabby’s Place to get specialized care. When he first came to us, one of his back legs bent backwards. After seeing how it impaired his movement, we eventually decided to amputate his non-functional leg. Rascal is still recovering from the surgery but he already seems to be much more mobile than before!

Overall, Rascal doesn’t know he is different. He just knows he wants to find his forever home. Will you be the lucky one to take home this unique and incredibly affectionate little boy? He is waiting in our lobby to meet you!
