Blueberry the tabby cat may not provide the same health benefits as her namesake fruit, but she is just as sweet. Sometimes, she is happy to curl up in a corner and nap or groom her coat, while on other occasions, she will approach you with her mesmerizing green eyes, demanding pats and head bonks. She loves to meet new humans and can often be found at the gate by her door, waiting for attention from passers by. Blueberry is a simply sweetheart who loves other quiet cats and humans.
Blueberry and her best friend, Jupiter, came to Tabby’s Place from a hoarding situation in North Carolina. Out of the ninety cats in Blueberry’s previous home, she formed a special bond with Jupiter that continues to this day. For now, the two put down temporary roots in our Director of Operations’ office and have also befriended their office mates. They are often found snuggling with their buddies Myrna and April.
As much as we love our dear Blueberry, we know that Blueberry will thrive if she finds a forever home, especially one where she can hang with feline friends. She is a lovely cat who truly deserves a loving home. Although visiting Blueberry doesn’t count toward your recommended daily intake of fruit, spending time with her will leave you feeling better. Come meet her any day of the week, from 12 to 5 PM.
