Cypress is very timid. She has been with us for some months and remains quite shy, although she has improved somewhat over time. Some people can pet or brush her, but not everyone. If she's frightened, she will sometimes hiss and swat; because of this, we recommend strongly that she go to a home with no small children. Cypress would do best in a quiet home, as well. It's helpful that Cypress adores canned food and we've been using this to our advantage when socializing her.
We know there's someone out there who can cherish our shy girl and bring her out of her shell with a lot of patient attention.
