Pretty Elvira is a medium-haired female Persian, between two and three years old in our estimation (we think she was born around October of 2006). She has a black nose, with black patches on her head and over her back, and a black tail; the rest of her coat is white. Elvira has absolutely gorgeous golden eyes, and she's on the larger side.

While she isn't aggressive toward other cats in the least, Elvira can be temperamental with people. She's very loving one moment, then she'll swat you the next. We believe that some of this is due to her being so new to Tabby's Place, but we're not sure how much. On the plus side, she does enjoy playing and is rarely unhappy with a wand toy dangling in front of her nose.

We're hopeful that Elvira will settle down after some time with us. Meanwhile, she should not go to a home with small children.
