Sadly, Penny's owner passed away last year. This left Penny homeless and eventually she found herself at a shelter where she was then scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully, Penny ended up at Tabby's Place instead. With all the moving around it's no wonder Penny tends to be quite reserved and timid. However, she has made some wonderful progress since she's been here. She's become more outgoing and will gladly accept a few pats on the head now and again.

We are hopeful that Penny will continue to come out of her shell and in time show us more of her charming personality.
