Imagine a medium-size, all-black female with very large green eyes. It's a pretty picture, and that's our Impy. Impy had lived in a private home for years with a handful or so of other felines. Her owner had the foresight to make arrangements for his cats should something happened to him, and in fact, he passed away rather suddenly.

Overall, Impy has been lucky, but just now, she's pretty spooked. Impy isn't aggressive in the slightest, for all that she's so timid with us now. But this is a very big change for any cat, especially an older one (our best guess is that Impy was born in 2002).

We're hopeful that Impy will start to come around once she understands that we mean her no harm.
